The Darkness of August

Suddenly we're there - in that part of summer where the nights get dark again. After two months of continous light, we Swedes are actually surprised to see the nights getting dark. We call it "the Darkness of August" (Augustimorkret). Technically, or at least astronomically speaking though, this is no different from the bright Nordic light we experience in May.
